Mandarin Program
Level 1 - ESSENTIAL Mandarin Program
Pinyin is a foundational tool for reading, pronunciation, and communication in Mandarin. This program will provide a solid building-block for developing confidence in recognising characters, expanding vocabulary, and building conversational skills in daily contexts.
Level 2 – EMERGING Mandarin Program
EMERGING Mandarin helps your child

learn 3-4 new words weekly to grow their vocabulary.

strengthen word recognition and understanding.

practise writing to reinforce learning.

build a regular reading habit for continued progress.

It builds on the foundation of the ESSENTIAL Mandarin program, fostering Mandarin confidence and communication skills.
Level 3 – DEVELOPING Mandarin Program
DEVELOPING Mandarin supports your child to

learn 5-6 new words weekly, expanding their vocabulary further.

enhance word recognition and understanding with more complex content.

practise writing longer words and phrases to deepen comprehension.

deepen, and widen reading genres.

With a similar approach to the EMERGING Mandarin program, this level proposes a higher difficulty level to challenge and engage your child.
